Kevin has been fly fishing for over two decades and has been the owner/operator of Freestone Guide Service since 2016. He is an expert when it comes to float trips on the Androscoggin and Connecticut rivers and can also show you around the banks of our local waters. He is an artist on the tying bench having spent years honing his skills. Kevin is an avid naturalist who enjoys exploring the mountains and has a deep knowledge of the flora and fauna found in our region. Outside of fly fishing he can be found spending time with his young family and spending time helping his wife with her flower farm business in Bethlehem New Hampshire.

Jim is at home on the water and has been fly fishing the streams, rivers, and lakes of northern New Hampshire and Maine for more than 15 years. He is the owner and operator of Lloyd’s Guide Service and specializes in backcountry fly fishing experiences. In addition to his time spent with a fly rod, Jim loves enjoying the outdoors with his wife and dog. You can usually find him in a backpack, on a mountain bike, in a canoe, or spending time warming up by the fire in his yurt overlooking the Ammonoosuc valley.

Sean has been fly fishing for three decades while enjoying a multifaceted career in the outdoor industry from travel and tourism to retail, marketing, sales, and resort management. Gaining his greatest enjoyment from outdoor instruction and guiding multiple sports. In addition to his time at Troutsmith, Sean is a tenured professor in Outdoor Education, Leadership, and Tourism at Vermont State University. On most days you can find Sean on quiet sections of the Ammonoosuc River or hiking deep into smaller waters searching for native brook trout.
